Telehealth complex communication and feeding therapy

World-class care, anywhere

We utilize both high- and low-tech aids to help patients increase communication autonomy and decrease community participation barriers.

We know the most successful outcomes for patients with complex needs come from a combination of advanced clinical skills and consistent therapy.

By bringing speech-language pathology and augmentative and alternative communication services to patients via telehealth, we can work toward those great outcomes with patients who may not otherwise have access to them.

What you’ll need to participate

-Stable internet

-A tablet, computer, or phone with a camera and microphone

-An e-helper to assist with sessions if the patient is unable to participate independently

Insurance and costs

AAC Anywhere plans to contract with fee-for-service Medicaid in Alaska, Wyoming, and Vermont in 2024, Please contact us to see if your insurance is accepted if you live in one of these states.

In other states and around the world, AAC Anywhere is available on a cash basis at a rate of $175-225 USD per visit, dependent upon specific patient needs.

The role of caregivers and family members

Parents, family members, and caregivers are valued members of the teletherapy team. They give input in the evaluation process, then the therapist can work directly with the patient, within a caregiver training model, or a hybrid of both, dependent upon the needs of the child.
